This intermediate level workshop reviews the fundamentals for food photography: lighting (both in studio and on location), composition, props, styling, camera equipment, lenses, exposure techniques, and white balance settings...and then Lou takes you to the next level of proficiency. One of the recognized masters of this genre, Lou reveals the intricacies and subtleties involved in his craft, including plenty of "tricks of the trade." A PowerPoint presentation on lighting and hands on shooting are part of this workshop. For those who wish to bring a couple of their own food images to the class (in print or digital format), Lou will offer a brief critique. Location: Manhattan, New York Cost: $225.00 Experience: An understanding of all basic camera functions and at least three years of active shooting experience, including some experience with basic studio lighting of objects, e.g., food.
