Virtually every important image that you see these days has been retouched--some very intensively. We expect today's images to be "better than real life." This workshop will give you an overview of how it's done, including the hidden tricks used by many of the top photo retouchers in the industry. While we will be retouching pictures of people (which would apply to photos of family, friends, weddings, glamour, etc.), the tools can be readily applied to any kind of image.

  • Feathering & selection tools (for selecting portions of an image to work on)

  • Contrast Controls (Curves, Levels)...and more

Joe's step-by-step instructions include a demonstration of retouching an image that has been used for publication. You'll come away from this class with a solid understanding of the essential Photoshop retouching techniques.
