We capture the vibrancy and vitality of Manhattan, encompassing intimate street portraits, bustling avenues, elegant shop displays, landmark buildings and more. In tackling these varied subjects, we focus on creating strong compositions, generating a feeling of spontaneity and energy in our pictures, taking advantage of available light, and using flash when helpful. Shooting time is spent in and around Manhattan's "Photo District" (home of the famous Flatiron Building), while critiques are held in Lou's nearby studio.
