In our mind's eye, we all have images of the great icons located in our nation's capital−the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials, the Washington Monument, the U.S. Capitol, the Supreme Court, and the Vietnam Memorial. We explore them all, seeking to bring a fresh look to each one. We also bring our creative eyes to bear on less familiar subjects around the mall: museums, federal office buildings, the Library of Congress, sculpture, and people. Steve Gottlieb has been photographing DC for thirty years and has produced three books on the city. He will help you develop a new perspective and appreciation of the city's exquisite treasures.
