Howard's career in photography has spanned more than three decades. He is the author of more than one hundred articles on photography techniques, and has been an editor at Modern Photography, eDigitalPhoto and, currently, Shutterbug. His photo credits include top consumer and photo magazines, newspapers, books, galleries, ad agencies, and corporations. He has received numerous national awards for his photography. He lives in Westchester County, near the New York Botanical Garden (click here for his Gardens workshops). He teaches workshops in the US and Europe.
