Howard's career in photography has spanned more than three decades. He is the author of more than one hundred articles on photography techniques, and has been an editor at Modern Photography, eDigitalPhoto and currently Shutterbug. His photo credits include top consumer and photo magazines, newspapers, books, galleries, ad agencies, and corporations. He teaches workshops in the US and Europe, and much of his writing, teaching, and published work involves Photoshop. He has received numerous national awards for his photography.
