Bill Campbell, "Great Smoky Mountains National Park"

Bill Campbell, a nationally recognized, award winning nature photographer, has been passionate about capturing the natural world since he held a Kodak Brownie camera at age 10. His commitment to sharing and protecting our natural environment commitment came to full fruition when he left his full time medical practice to pursue a career in nature photography. His images have been used in a multitude of magazines, text books, calendars and fine art exhibits in the U.S. and abroad. His teaching enables him to share his knowledge of photography and the natural world. As the Summit Chair for the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA), Bill is responsible for coordinating the annual meeting of 500-1000 nature photographers, photo editors, book publishers, stock agents and naturalists. Bill is co-author of the book, “The Smoky Mountains Photographer’s Guide.”
